Tyre Warranty – Our Policy
At Optimum Tyres, we want our customers to feel confident in every tyre purchase. All tyres we sell are covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects, giving you peace of mind that your tyres are safe and reliable.
What Our Warranty Covers
All tyres purchased from us are guaranteed against manufacturing defects. If a tyre is found to be faulty due to a production issue, we will arrange for it to be inspected and, if confirmed, offer a replacement or credit.
What Is Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover issues caused by everyday road conditions, misuse, or maintenance problems. Examples include:
- Punctures, cuts, or accidental damage (potholes, kerbs, sharp objects)
- Uneven wear from misalignment, incorrect inflation, or suspension faults
- Tyres worn down to or below the UK legal tread depth of 1.6mm
- Normal wear and tear
Warranty Duration
- The warranty remains valid until the tyre tread reaches the legal minimum depth of 1.6mm.
- This applies to all tyres purchased from us, regardless of brand or model.
How to Make a Claim
If you believe your tyre may have a manufacturing defect:
- Return the tyre to us with proof of purchase.
- We'll arrange for a professional inspection.
- If a fault is confirmed, you'll receive a replacement tyre or credit towards a new one (depending on tread wear).
Important Note
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only. For extra protection against accidental damage or road hazards, customers may wish to explore separate tyre insurance products available on the market.

These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases made through optimumtyres.co.uk website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following terms.
1. General Information
- OptimumTyres is a tyre retailer based in the UK.
- All prices displayed on our website are in GBP (£) and include VAT at the applicable rate.
- We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
2. Products and Availability
- We make every effort to ensure that all tyre information, images, and descriptions are accurate.
- Stock availability may change at short notice. If an item you order is unavailable, we will contact you with alternatives or provide a refund.
3. Pricing and Payment
- The price you pay will be the price displayed at checkout.
- We accept payment by major credit and debit cards, PayPal, or other payment options as displayed at checkout.
- Payment must be received in full before tyres are dispatched.
4. Delivery and Fitting
- Delivery options and charges will be displayed at checkout.
- Delivery times are estimates and may vary. We are not liable for delays caused by courier services.
- If you have selected a fitting partner location, the tyres will be delivered directly there, and fitting will be arranged at your chosen appointment.
5. Cancellations and Returns
- Orders can be cancelled prior to dispatch for a full refund.
- Once tyres have been fitted to a vehicle, they cannot be returned unless found to be faulty.
- Unfitted tyres may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unused and in resalable condition. Return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
6. Warranty
- All tyres are covered against manufacturing defects as per the manufacturer's warranty terms.
- The warranty does not cover accidental damage, punctures, or wear caused by misalignment, under-inflation, or misuse.
- Claims will be handled through inspection, and if a fault is confirmed, a replacement or credit will be offered.
7. Liability
- We are not responsible for losses caused by tyre misuse, improper maintenance, or road hazards.
- Our liability is limited to the value of the tyres purchased.
8. Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Shipping information
At Optimum Tyres, we aim to deliver your tyres quickly and reliably across the UK. We work with trusted couriers DPD and DHL to ensure your order reaches you safely.
Delivery Options- Standard Delivery: Most orders are delivered within 2–4 working days.
Couriers We Use- We use DPD and DHL as our delivery partners.
- The courier used for your order depends on your delivery postcode.
- Tracking information will be provided once your order has been dispatched.
- Deliveries are made Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays).
- Someone must be available to sign for the delivery.
- If you are not available, the courier may leave your tyres with a neighbour or in a safe place, or reattempt delivery.
- Delivery charges will be displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.
Returns and Complaints
At Optimum Tyres we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn’t right, our Returns and Complaints policy is here to help.
Returns Policy 1. Unfitted Tyres- You may return unused and unfitted tyres within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.
- Tyres must be in their original, unused condition and suitable for resale.
- Return costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was supplied incorrectly or is faulty.
Once tyres have been fitted to a vehicle, they can only be returned if they are found to have a manufacturing defect. Normal wear, punctures, or damage caused by road hazards are not covered.
3. RefundsRefunds will be processed once the returned tyres have been inspected. Where a replacement is offered, this may be in the form of a new tyre or credit towards another purchase, depending on the circumstances.
Complaints ProcedureWe take complaints seriously and aim to resolve any issues quickly and fairly.
- Contact Us – Please email or call us with details of your complaint, including your order number.
- Acknowledgement – We will confirm receipt of your complaint within 2 working days.
- Investigation – Our customer service team will investigate and, where necessary, arrange inspection of the tyres.
- Resolution – We aim to provide a full response within 10 working days. If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, a replacement or refund will be offered.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
For issues relating to tyre performance, claims may be referred to the manufacturer for technical assessment.
Customers are advised to keep proof of purchase and any inspection reports for warranty claims.
